ORCD was founded in Afghanistan in 2011 — not by outsiders, but by Afghans. For 14 years, our teams have reached communities that international NGOs could not: across 34 provinces, through conflict, political transition, and natural disaster. We have delivered over $100 million in humanitarian and development programmes — in health, nutrition, education, food security, WASH, and emergency relief. In partnership with UNICEF, WFP, WHO, UNHCR, UN Women, UNDP, and UNFPA. ORCD UK is our British home — connecting the Afghan diaspora, the British Muslim community, and the UK’s humanitarian sector to this proven delivery.
